SelecTool Run Procedure

Procedure:

Select one of the following:
- view SelecTool procedures - tutorial
- client-per-zone - for old SW which runs Multiple/Single selections for each zone
- client-per-project - for new SW which runs the entire project
Select Project or Zone and connect to SelecTool with login/password obtained from Dadanco
Select one of the following:
- Previous - for viewing/printing saved selections (Results and Input Masks)
- Camel File - for uploading a prepared Camel file (different versions of Camel SW)
- Camel Mask - for inputting data in Camel format
Client-per-zone will run each zone input parameters for separate Chilled Beam units (Single selection with all possible choices of qL/qS and Multiple selection with qS restrictions to a predefined tollerance - 100W)
Client-per-project will provide an Input Mask for choosing different input combinations of BOTH Chilled Beam Units and Inffusers:
- Number of Perimeter/External (EXT) and Internal (INT) zones
- Number of Units or Zone Length/Area
- qL/qS or PAF per zone or PAF per unit or qL/qS/PAF per zone
- Chilled Water IN or IN/OUT temperature
After submission, the next Mask will provide a calculated temp_dp_RA with optimal range for temp_PA and temp_CW_in/out and the following choices:
- qS and/or PAF tolerance (0%-50%) where % is calculated per qS and/or PAF required
- Beginner (one opmtimised solution per zone) or Expert solution (several optimised solutions per project/all zones with common parameters - Unit Type, Static Pressure, Tubes High, Length, Number of Rows, Nozzle Type)
- Separate temp_PA, Unit Type, Static Pressure for EXT/INT zones
- For INT zones and PAF inputs only (PAF per zone or unit) - OLD and NEW temp_PA and MAX PAF will indicate OLD measured temperatures and PAF values and with NEW temperature a reduction in PAF will be obtained
After submission the results for Beginner Solution (one per zone) or Expert Solution (common parameters per project - all zones) will be displayed; from Participate a selection of favoured selection is possible by ticking; both Begginer and Participate have a final Save/Print display
The Save/Printer Friendly Mask will display final Input/Calculated selections with TWO display tables for each zone - one with Unit, other with Zone values - errors between required and selected values displayed
If "Printer Friendly" is selected the Dadanco customer sheet will be displayed and can be printed via HTML or imported into MS Excel, If "Save" is selected ALL ticked or single selections will be saved

Suggestions:

Do not run ALL Chilled Beam Units with MAX range for Pst since that will take minutes for an average of 10-15 zone project, instead a run specific Chilled Beam unit with 1 or 2 values for Pst and run ALL Inffusers with ALL range for Pst since inffusers do not have many Nozzle Type configurations
Run "Expert" solution which is a modern version of Single Selection (client-per-zone), then select one or several solutions per EXT/INT zones and Inffusers with different mutual parameters
Save/Print one ONLY solution by clicking on appropriate buttons, then print hard copies and/or run other selections with prepared Input Mask of the current project adding new zones if necessary
